"You're being too nice," Shaquille O'Neal demands Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard to 'grab people by necks' amidst Bucks' terrible run

If there was one partnership that made fans wait quite patiently for the big reveal before the seasons started, it was Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard.

Since then, the duo have worked their magic on occasions, showing how much of a threat they could be. But unlike every winner, who knows what is needed to win, Shaquille O’Neal had a few words for the duo.

You and Giannis, you’re being too nice… You’re gonna have to grab some people by the necks and say, ‘Hey, this is what I need you to do.

The Milwaukee Buck acquired Damian Lillard from Portland Trail Blazers at the beginning of the 2023-204 season, to partner him up with Giannis. Since then the pair has been instrumental for their team, placing them 3rd in the Eastern Conference as things stand. But it hasn’t been the best month for the men in green and white.

With a managerial change in the middle of the season, questions have risen. Its recent form under the new manager Doc Rivers stands at 3-7. But Shaq has advised the trio to stick together and take responsibilities into their own hands.

It was a surprise when their coach, Adrian Griffin was sacked by the Milwaukee Bucks. Despite a strong headstart of 30 wins and 13 losses. But since the appointment of Doc Rivers, things have gone exactly the opposite of their expectations.

It has been a bad start for the newly appointed coach with a record of 3 wins and 7 losses. However, it was the loss against the Memphis Grizzlies that felt worse given their struggles this season. And with the All-Star events serving as a break to everyone, pressure continues to mount upon Doc.

But whether the appointment was well-thought-out or hasty, things have to change quickly given the caliber of the players they have.
