WWE has had a lot of amazing pay-per-view events this year. Their last event, “Night of Champions,” generated a lot of buzz among the fans for being an amazing show. It was exceptional and unpredictable from beginning to end. WWE has successfully made most of this year’s events entertaining. And now WWE has announced the return of its Payback PLE.

Many fans would know about the WWE Payback event, which was very popular when it was last held in 2020. During that time, the whole world was in quarantine, and fans could not attend the event. Nevertheless, the event was quite a success, as it sold a lot of virtual tickets for those who wished to see it live. The fans’ expectations were met, as everybody praised the event during that time.

WWE Payback 2020 delivered an exciting night of wrestling action while also advancing current storylines and rivalries within the WWE Universe. According to WWE news, they have officially confirmed that the Payback pay-per-view will be back. WWE recently released a press statement confirming the date and venue of the event. It will be held at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh on September 2nd. It is the first major live event to be held in Pittsburgh in five years. WWE Payback will be broadcast live exclusively on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network in the rest of the world.

Currently, there are no major rumors about the potential matches or the number of matches. But it’s highly likely that the match card will feature at least three championship matches, as WWE generally does at other pay-per-views. The fans will be expecting a lot from WWE Payback as it returns after three years.
