According to WWE news, they have officially confirmed that the Payback pay-per-view will be back. WWE recently released a press statement confirming the date and venue of the event. It will be held at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh on September 2nd. It is the first major live event to be held in Pittsburgh in five years. WWE Payback will be broadcast live exclusively on Peacock in the United States and on WWE Network in the rest of the world.
Currently, there are no major rumors about the potential matches or the number of matches. But it’s highly likely that the match card will feature at least three championship matches, as WWE generally does at other pay-per-views. The fans will be expecting a lot from WWE Payback as it returns after three years.
