The Irish superstar has brought in more money and popularity to Dana White‘s promotion than any other fighter in the promotion’s history. ‘The Notorious’ has been out of the fight scene for a while now. But that has not stopped him from commenting from the outside.
Conor McGregor recently commented about the latest PPV events. The Irishman took aim at other fighters claiming that they were not PPV draws. He went on X to write that he would not watch the latest UFC draws for free or even if they paid him for it.

Conor McGregor dominates the list of the UFC’s biggest PPV draws. The biggest one of them all was Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Conor McGregor at UFC 229 back in 2018. Even though the Irishman lost the fight, the matchup brought in 2.4 million PPV buys.
It has been around three years since Conor McGregor last fought in the UFC. ‘The Notorious’ was supposed to make his highly anticipated comeback this year at UFC 303. However, a last-moment injury pushed back McGregor’s much-anticipated return to later this year. As per his recent statements, McGregor is expected to make a highly anticipated comeback against Michael Chandler later this year.
Belal Muhammad speaks on fighting Conor McGregor
Belal Muhammad and Conor McGregor have had a couple of exchanges online. ‘Remember The Name’ recently addressed a potential fight with the Irishman ahead of his UFC 304 main event bout against Leon Edwards. Muhammad is interested in facing off against ‘The Notorious’.
The top welterweight fighter does not think McGregor would step into the octagon against him. When a reporter asked him about a showdown against ‘The Notorious’, he said that the former double champion would likely back out on the excuse as ridiculous as a broken nail.
If he’s pulling out for a freaking toe to fight Michael Chandler, he’ll probably pull out for a broken nail to fight me.

Muhammad went on to beat Leon Edwards in Manchester and claim the UFC welterweight title. The fight went the distance and ‘Remember The Name’ won via unanimous decision. Similar to Conor McGregor, UFC CEO Dana White was dissatisfied with the unexciting performance of the fight card.
