UFC is the biggest MMA promotion in the world and attracts fans from all over the globe. Among these fans, many A-list celebrities follow the sport. One of them is none other than popular Canadian rapper Drake. Recently, the millionaire rapper picked his favorite fighters among the likes of Conor McGregor, Nate Diaz and others.
Drake recently joined popular streamer Adin Ross for a Stake livestream, where they discussed various topics. When asked about his all-time favourite UFC fighters, Drake remained loyal to his pick, naming Nate Diaz as his favourite. However, he did have his reasons to pick Diaz over others such as Conor McGregor and Jon Jones.
Drake revealed that he likes people like Nate and Nick Diaz, who have remained true to their old selves. The rapper respects the younger Diaz brother because he never changed irrespective of the money and fame he received throughout his career. Drake also mentioned his love for McGregor as he shares a great relationship with the ‘Notorious’.

At UFC 229, when McGregor fought Khabib Nurmagomedov in the iconic lightweight title fight, Drake was there to support the ‘Mystic Mac.’ Since then, both millionaires have maintained a close relationship based on mutual respect and appreciation. However, no matter what, Drake is still a member of the Diaz army.
When Drake lost $250K betting on Nate Diaz against Jake Paul
After retiring from the UFC, Nate Diaz transitioned to boxing and faced YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul in a high-profile match last year. The lead-up to the fight was marked by intense trash talk and bad blood, creating significant hype around the event. When they finally stepped into the ring, Paul secured a dominant victory via unanimous decision, showcasing his improved boxing skills.
Paul even managed to drop Diaz to the canvas during the fight, solidifying his win and silencing some critics. Ahead of the fight, Drake bet a whopping $250K in favor of Diaz which he ultimately lost. After learning about it, the Stockton native gave a befitting response.
Since then, Nate Diaz has bounced back and picked up his first boxing win against former UFC rival Jorge Masvidal. Diaz has also talked about potentially fighting Conor McGregor or Jake Paul for the second time. Nevertheless, as a fan, Drake would be looking forward to an update.
