Superstars Jr NTR and Nayanthara lit up the screen with their on-screen chemistry in the 2010 hit film Adhurs. The action comedy was a massive success, but did you know that Nayanthara once jokingly referred to her co-star Jr NTR as a ‘brat’?
Fast forward to 2022, Nayanthara was busy promoting her upcoming film Connect when she sat down for an interview with Dhivyadharshini and Suma Kanakala. During the chat, the Bigil actress shared a funny anecdote from her time working with Jr NTR.
Recalling the incident, Nayanthara said, “I think he is also a bit of a brat. One day, I was getting some touch-up done on set, and he kept staring at me. I asked him what was wrong, and he replied, ‘Why are you doing so much touch-up? No one is going to look at you, everyone will be looking at me.’”
Directed by V. V. Vinayak, Adhurs follows the story of two brothers separated at birth and raised in different environments. The film delves into their journey as adults and takes a dramatic turn when one of them is kidnapped.
During the interview, Nayanthara also shared her experience working with Prabhas, affectionately calling him a ‘brat’ as well. She described the Kalki 2898 AD star as sweet and childlike, recalling how he would play pranks and joke around on set.
Nayanthara also praised Prabhas for his success in the industry, noting their collaboration in the 2007 film Yogi. The actress commended Prabhas for his growth as a superstar since their time working together.
