He and Belal Muhammad are in the same boat; however, Izzy is not that confident about Muhammad winning. In a recent YouTube video, Adesanya predicted the potential result of the fight, which turned out to be against Muhammad.

Talking about their first no-contest bout, Adesanya mentioned that Edwards was winning it until the eye poke took place. This is the same thing the British superstar said when he recently revisited the eye poke. Edwards felt Muhammad was losing the bout and took an easy way out by overplaying the eye poke.
Meanwhile, Belal Muhammad is extremely confident ahead of the title. He has trained with UFC lightweight legend Khabib Nurmagomedov and has made some bold claims lately. The Palestinian believes he’s just one title win away from surpassing Georges St-Pierre‘s legacy in the welterweight division. However, as Adesanya said, it will be interesting to see Muhammad’s game plan against Leon Edwards.
