Movsar Evloev has called out Aljamain Sterling for a while now. While both parties are interested for a showdown, the former bantamweight champion does not seem too eager to fight Evloev just yet. This has pissed off the Russian who called out Sterling on social media.
The UFC has not officially acknowledged a potential fight between Movsar Evloev and Aljamain Sterling. The Russian called Sterling out for this on X blaming him for not signing the contract. Sterling responded revealing that he was tired of repetitively saying that he was going to fight in September.

The fight Evloev mentioned was UFC Fight Night 243 in Las Vegas. It is scheduled for this August, where supposedly they would have headlined the main event. The undefeated Russian even confidently wrote that the only time he would bully Sterling was when they were in the octagon.

Now September has a couple of big events coming up. There is the UFC Fight Night 9/7. This is followed by Noche UFC, where the UFC has reportedly invested a lot of money to make it one of the grandest PPV events in the promotion’s history. Finally, September ends with UFC Fight Night: Paris. It will be interesting to see on which main card doe we see the two featherweights clash in the octagon.
Movsar Evloev trolls Aljamain Sterling for 2017 loss
Aljamain Sterling and Movsar Evloev have gone back and forth at each other for a while now. It did not stop when Sterling commented on their potential September matchup. Evloev recently sent out a tweet mocking Sterling for his KO loss Marlon Moraes back in 2017.

Sterling harked back at the undefeated Russian for his comments given his reputation of pulling out of fights. Moreover, Sterling also brought attention to Evloev’s fighting style, which does not consist of a singe finish in the UFC. The animosity between the two has reached critical level desperately needing an outlet in the octagon.
