Everything was going right for the Los Angeles Clippers until they faced the Chicago Bulls on Monday night. The Clippers boasted a 4-game win streak going into this game. However, they lost with an uncharacteristically poor performance to the Bulls by 99-112. This brought out a disgruntled response from Clippers star, James Harden when questioned regarding his upcoming game against the Celtics.

Notably, the Clippers were without two important players, Kawhi Leonard and Ivica Zubac against the Bulls. James Harden contributed 17 points, and Norman Powell scored 27 but it wasn’t enough to secure the win against a hard-working Bulls side. Regarding the Clippers’ next matchup, Harden did not mince his words.

“I’m not looking toward nobody. We just got whooped at home by the Bulls.”

James Harden told the reporters

Harden’s words make sense as the Bulls were not in great form ahead of their game against the Clippers. They were, after all, a road team on a 5-game losing streak. Now, Harden’s Clippers face the mighty Celtics on Monday, on demoralized. Aside from this, Josh Giddey contributed 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 9 assists to Zach LaVine‘s 35 points for the Bulls at the Intuit Dome.

The Clippers’ defense was woeful against the Bulls’ attack. Now, they have to face a Celtics side that has won by 40 points against the Golden State Warriors. All eyes will be on the upcoming matchup between the Clippers and the Celtics.

James Harden makes NBA history in win against Lakers

One of the NBA’s top scorers for a long time, James Harden has climbed one more place in the all-time rankings. Harden moved up to 14th place on the career scoring list. He surpassed Oscar Robertson, who was inducted into the Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame with 26,710 points. Harden recorded this achievement on January 19th’s 116-102 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.

James Harden has one been of the most consistent scorers throughout his NBA career. The former Houston Rockets star scored at least 30 in 32 consecutive games from December 13 through February during the 2018-19 NBA season. In addition, Harden has been consistently scoring in the NBA since 2013-2021. His scoring ability has now taken him to 14th on the NBA All-time scoring list.

The Clippers are now 24-18 in the West after their recent loss coming against the Chicago Bulls at the Intuit Dome. They are in 5th place on the WC table, with the Los Angeles Lakers trailing just behind one place, in 6th position. It remains to be seen whether or not, the Clippers secure an NBA Playoffs spot this season.
