There is likely nobody else in the world who has made Dana White more money than Conor McGregor. The former UFC double champion and his much-anticipated comeback remain an important topic for MMA fans. However, the UFC CEO doesn’t think that is going to happen anytime soon.
McGregor has not competed since July 2021, when he fractured his leg in a battle against Dustin Poirier. He has been paired with Michael Chandler for a fight since early 2023. The two were set to fight on June 29 at UFC 303, but McGregor withdrew due to a toe injury. While talking about his potential comeback, White revealed McGregor will not be available this year.

After the UFC 303 debacle, Dana White refused to talk about Conor McGregor until the Irishman was ready for the fight. Subsequently, McGregor showed several signs that created doubt among the fight fans about his comeback. He was recently observed chugging beer in the middle of the BKFC ring, which he partly owns.
McGregor also participated in a motorcycle rally in which he donned a black leather jacket, which caught the attention of many. On top of it, McGregor was found guilty of reckless driving and was banned from driving for two years. Despite all these mishaps, McGregor is interested in fighting and wants Dana White to make it happen later this year.

This includes big names such as Sean O’Malley, Canelo Alvarez etc. The Irish fighter also revisited his arch-nemesis and has plans to buy Khabib Nurmagomedov‘s childhood house amidst tax debt.

Conor McGregor is the richest MMA athlete of all time. The ‘Notorious’ might not need to fight anymore at all, which has fans in doubt regarding his commitment. Nonetheless, everything will be cleared in the upcoming months about whether McGregor will fight in December.
