UFC CEO Dana White has had several animosities in his life, inside and outside the UFC. One of the most heated ones was with ex-UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz. White even once offered to box Ortiz to settle their feud. As such, White did not leave any time to troll the ex-UFC superstar for a recent hilarious incident.

Ortiz was recently at a regional MMA event where he possibly had a big role as an executive. After the event’s conclusion, Ortiz came inside the cage and delivered a good speech, thanking the venue organizers and promising to be better next time. With the fans applauding, Ortiz dropped the mike, but it hit his forehead, and White did not waste time trolling Ortiz.

Even though Ortiz feuded with White and the UFC in the past, mainly due to fighter pay, he is a UFC Hall of Famer in the class of 2012. For Dana White, Ortiz and Randy Couture were the ones he thought did their best to sabotage the company. Nevertheless, he now doesn’t have ill will towards his former employee.

Per White, Ortiz is a st*pid person. Therefore, everything he did was due to his low level of intelligence. Nonetheless, like Dana White, Ortiz is a supporter of Donald Trump. A staunch Republican, Ortiz was briefly the Mayor of Huntington Beach, his hometown.

Dana White has found it difficult to deal business with several fighters. The legendary Fedor Emelianenko never wanted to do business with White. As such, the arguable GOAT of MMA, especially at heavyweight, never fought in the UFC. More recently, White found it difficult to come to terms with Francis Ngannou, who left the UFC for the PFL.

Nevertheless, for White, Tito Ortiz was the most difficult to do business with. White revealed it in his interview with Kurt Alexander for BigBoyTV. However, White attributed Ortiz’s actions to him not being smart.

Tito [Ortiz], we’d be coming up to a big fight that was on Saturday…Deals have been done for months. Tito would call and say, ‘I’m not going to show up unless you pay me another 150,000 or whatever the number was.’ He would do this on the regular. You know, and I would go cr*zy, and we would, you know, but these are the kind of things Tito was always the type of guy that would step over dollars to pick up dimes.

White felt Ortiz destroyed what could’ve been a fruitful business partnership. He revealed that Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta, the previous owners of the UFC, loved Ortiz. However, the former champion made less money than he could’ve made with the decisions he made destroyed.
