However, before that, both fighters went viral for their latest brawl in front of the Fighter Hotel in Manchester. In the video, both fighters can be seen swinging at each other with interference from both team members.
Both Kape and Mokaev have a history with each other and have allegedly got into a street fight. Kape’s training partner Jean Silva once revealed a fight that broke out between Mokaev and Kape. According to Silva, Kape managed to give the British fighter a cut on his forehead. However, later ‘Starboy’ backtracked from his training partner’s comments. Kape admitted that nothing happened between him and Mokaev and showed respect to his ‘Muslim brother’.
Kape also made headlines by embracing Islam after his viral controversial anti-LGBTQ rant. In a recent interview with MMA Fighting, Kape further mentioned that the story was fake and a publicity stunt. According to Kape, his Brazilian friend, Silva did that to add spice to the rivalry and promote the fight. However, as it turns out there was more to the story than he had explained.

It appears that both fighters have been through a lot behind the scenes and have unsolved concerns. They tried everything they could to remedy the problem, but it didn’t work, and the brawl was the final result.

After the incident, both fighters took to social media to mock each other. Mokaev made fun of his opponent by taking a screenshot from the brawl and writing ‘help’ in the caption. On the other hand, Kape shared a picture of Mokaev with a cut on his face.

However, in his recent selfie, Mokaev didn’t have that cut over his forehead. This further supports the theory that the previous fight that Jean Silva was talking about might have been real. On top of it, both fighters were previously on the main card of 304 but the fight was downgraded. Now the fight will take place in the early prelims. Moreover, the brawl has certainly raised the anticipation of fight fans.
