This ‘despicable’ act by Doncic occurred in the third quarter of the game, with the Mavs trailing 92-87. Doncic received a pass from Uncle Drew and then made the fake move on Brooks, resulting in him nearly twisting his ankles before he successfully converted his outside-the-arc shot.
However, the Rockets gave the Mavericks a run for their money after they ran away 42-27 in the first quarter of the game. However, thanks to the combined efforts of the formidable duo of Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic, the Mavs were able to fight back and take the game to overtime, not forgetting the clutch shot from Dante Exum.
Luka Doncic ended the game with 37 points, nine rebounds, and 12 assists, while Irving had a game-high 48 points, seven rebounds, and two assists. The win ensured that the Mavs maintained their hot streak, as they’ve won 13 out of 15 games consecutively and, in the process, eliminated the Rockets from the play-in tournament.

While the internet is taking its time to roast Brooks, he had a good game for the Rockets, as he was their top scorer with 29 points, two rebounds, and two assists. But that won’t take away the joy fans got from seeing their favorite villain suffer at the hands of the MVP contender.
