February 14th is a day of mixed emotions. People either look forward to this day or loathe the arrival of the annual Lover’s day. This year, Shams Charania, the prominent NBA sports journalist, looked forward to Valentine’s Day. He surprised one of his colleagues on FanDuel TV with a special gift. Shams has been an NBA reporter for years, but this time, he is the one who decided to shoot his shot at Kay Adams, the host of the Up & Adams show.
He surprised Kay Adams with a gift, a gorgeous red box with rose prints all over it. The host had no clue who the gift was from until she opened the box up and realized Shams Charania had penned down a special note for her.
Kay with much love and with much admiration for you as a person! Happy Valentine’s Day.

Of course, the surprise resulted in Kay Adams blushing for a moment. The host toyed with him as she made fun of his handwriting by describing it as “horrifying writing.” The box contained a pair of red sneakers.
The journalist had sported them at the Super Bowl this year and Kay Adams had made fun of him for wearing them to the big game. This is not the first time Adams and Shams have been suspected of having something going on between them.

They were a pair of red John Geiger shoes. Adams reacted:
Oh my God these are the shoes he had wore at the Super Bowl. I made fun of him for wearing such nice sneakers. These are so cute…Shams, this is the sweetest thing, thank you!
While the host was flattered by Shams Charania’s thoughtful gift, it was not the most ideal response a man would expect after giving a present to a woman on Valentine’s Day.

That’s a great colleague of mine…I think she’s amazing at what she does, I enjoy going on her show…she makes me feel very comfortable…
He goes on to be on the fence regarding his stance towards Kay Adams. He kept it professional by stating that the host makes him feel welcome on the show and is a good person.

Shams revealed they watched the Super Bowl together from the FanDuel suite. Pat McAfee doubled down on his initial question and asked him in a different manner if the duo was dating. He shed some light on their bond and said,
I wouldn’t classify myself as dating.
For now, that appears to be the case. Even if there was chemistry brewing between the two, it would not be ideal to reveal it on air. It would look unprofessional on their part. It will be interesting to watch Shams Charania the next time he appears on the Kay Adams’ show.
