The main event of Money in the Bank witnessed the most-awaited โThe Bloodline Civil Warโ match. After getting engaged in a long-lasting, vicious bout, Roman Reigns finally crumbled. In a shocking turn of events, Jey Uso pinned The Tribal Chief after 1294 days. He has created a history-making moment by breaking the streak.
The Bloodline Civil War began with Jimmy Uso and his younger brother Solo Sikoa. The match started quite slowly, with Jimmy going to the corner after getting slammed by Sikoa. The Enforcer overpowered Jimmy, but the latter soon tagged in Jey to attack Solo Sikoa together. When Roman Reigns asked for a tag, Sikoa looked into his eyes and finally gave him one. The Enforcer hinted at the manipulation by Reigns as his willingness to battle was put down by him.
Jey looked forward to taking on Roman, as he was getting cheered by the crowd. The Tribal Chief took a timeout from the match upon Jeyโs tag-in but got motivated by Paul Heyman to go in and fight again. Upon Jimmyโs further tag in, Reigns dominated him and was also attacked by Solo as the referee was distracted by The Tribal Chief. As the crowd was seen against Roman, he stated that the audience was โa bunch of idiots.โ
The closing moments of this match saw Jey Uso and Jimmy double-spear Roman instead of him spearing Jey. A moment came when all four stars stood in the ring and took out each other. After several beatings by Roman, Jey received a Samoan Spike and a spear simultaneously. To pin them, Roman even stacked Jimmy upon him and went for the pinfall, but was kicked out.
The sad look on Roman Reignsโ face was a result of his inability to conquer During the final moments of the match, The Usos applied a double superkick to the Tribal Chief, followed by a splash by Jey. The WWE Universe witnessed a shocker when Jey Uso pinned Roman Reigns for the first time in three and a half years. It was truly a monumental moment as Reigns was pinned after 1294 days.
