Jokic revealed in an interview that his family is what makes him the happiest in his life.
Jokic is generally regarded as emotionless. He has been time and again questioned for not showing his true emotions on the court. But it seems he prefers to keep his emotions for his family. When pressed about what about his family makes him happy, he mentioned that it is when his daughter laughs. Jokic finds happiness at home. Maybe that is why he prefers to not reveal his emotions elsewhere.
Nikola Jokic has shown his love for his family and his hometown on several occasions. Though his wife Natalija, and daughter Ognjena live with him wherever he stays, his two brothers and their partners are known to accompany him. Such is his love for his family, that he prefers to spend time with them rather than party like other younger players do.
Jokic has a history of running back to his native Serbia as soon as the NBA season is over. Last year, after winning the title, he was famously quoted as not being pleased to wait until after the championship parade to go home.

From a fringe player taken in the second round to establishing himself as the franchise cornerstone. Jokic has gone on to be one of the best players to ever play the game. Jokic prefers to spend time after games with his family. Rarely is he pictured without his family members by his side. Back in Serbia, he spends time with his extended family and most importantly his horses.
