The Chicago Bulls recently played against the Boston Celtics in the NBA. Not many would’ve expected the Bulls to come out victorious against the defending champions at the TD Garden. The Bulls won 117-108 game in Boston, driven by a season-high 36 points from standout guard Zach LaVine. This left the Celtics fans shocked as well as their head coach Joe Mazzulla furious.
Although Chicago’s improved shooting and dominance in the rebounding game undoubtedly contributed to their upset victory, Celtics head coach Joe Mazzulla appeared to believe that other factors were working against them. The broadcast captured every moment of Mazzulla‘s crazed outburst after the final bell when he rushed onto the floor to express his true feelings to referee Justin Van Duyne.
Joe Mazzulla allegedly told Van Duyne, “F**k you, come here f**k you!” with the Celtics HC needed restraining from his staff. Crucially, the league has been quite stringent about suspensions for any misconduct. Although Mazzulla’s outburst was not the first in his career, the NBA’s decision about it may result in his first head coach ban.

Superstar forward Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 31 points and 10 rebounds. But the league’s best shooting team‘s night of 25 percent three-point shooting was undoubtedly their undoing. As for the Bulls, Ayo Dosunmu supported LaVine with 17 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists in their side’s win over the Celtics.
Jaylen Brown provided a ‘blunt’ answer to the refereeing during his match
After the Boston Celtics’ 117-108 loss to the Chicago Bulls on Thursday, Jaylen Brown was not pleased with the referees. Referee Justin Van Duyne gave Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla a technical penalty in the fourth quarter for contesting a jump ball ruling. Brown received a technical foul of his own after defending his coach.

Brown claimed that after telling an official that he had called a tech without cause, the official threatened to give the 28-year-old a technical if he repeated the statement. After repeating himself, Brown was indeed given a technical foul.
Brown recorded just 19 points against the Bulls in his side’s loss on Thursday. It was a poor performance as per his standard. Also, he will be looking to make amends in the upcoming matchup against the Bulls soon enough.
