Donald Trump lived up to his promise. The newly-elected US President vowed to attend UFC 309 if he won the elections. Trump appeared at the event alongside UFC president Dana White and billionaire Elon Musk. If that wasnโt surprising enough, Trump also performed his YMCA dance with the crowd and met WWE CCO, Triple H.
In fan footage that has gone viral on X, the wrestling legend can be seen greeting White at the front row. Moments later, The Game and Trump embraced as the trio then conversed for quite some time. The WWE-UFC merger has led to similar surprise collabs in the past year. For instance, Michael Chandler appeared on a random WWE Raw episode earlier this year. Moreover, Chandler called out his rival, Conor McGregor, in a passionate promo.
Although Trump frequently appears at UFC events nowadays, he used to be a staple guest for WWE decades ago. This kick started when The Trump Plaza hosted both WrestleMania 4 and 5. Trump would later feud with then-WWE owner Vince McMahon in 2007.

The โBattle of the Billionairesโ storyline heading into WrestleMania 23 ended up being a major success for WWE. According to reports, the event was the highest-grossing show in the companyโs history at the time. Six years later, McMahon inducted Donald Trump into the WWE Hall of Fame for his contribution to the promotion.
McMahonโs wife, Linda McMahon, has also been a part of Trumpโs administration for the past decade or so. Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see if this linkup with Triple H is a prelude to the 47th president potentially appearing on WWE programming in the future.
WWE fans accused of voting in Donald Trump into presidency
Following Donald Trumpโs assertive win over Kamala Harris, MSNBC held a political discussion about the elections. During the conversation, Joy Reid blatantly accused WWE fans of playing a massive role in helping Trump win.
Reid labeled Trump a โdictatorโ and pointed out how wrestling fans who grew up watching Hulk Hogan voted for the WWE Hall of Famer. Hogan had spoken openly about his support for Trump, even delivering a fiery speech at the RNC.
Along with Hogan, WWE legends such as The Undertaker and Kane endorsed the 78-year-old ahead of the elections. Moreover, Trump appeared on Undertakerโs Six Feet Under podcast, where the two spoke extensively about the wrestling industry.
