Initially, UFC 303 was Conor McGregor‘s return fight against Michael Chandler. However, the fighter had to pull out but the promotion did save the card with some last-minute changes. While fans were enjoying watching the PPV event, Conor McGregor was observed having fun in Switzerland.
Recently, McGregor uploaded a video of him crossing through a hanging bridge in the Swiss mountains. With little to no visibility due to fog, McGregor had a blast walking on the bridge. The ‘Notorious’ as usual was in great spirits and was laughing while crossing the bridge.Â

Conor McGregor has been out of the octagon for more than three years now due to his leg injury. UFC 303 was the big PPV event that would have marked the return of the ‘Mystic Mac’. However, a few weeks before the fight, McGregor injured his toe and refused to continue. According to McGregor, he didn’t want to give any advantages to his opponents and would properly heal before stepping back inside the octagon.Â
It seems like his bizarre leg injury and lack of activity have made McGregor very cautious about his future. The fighter is 35 years old and has very few fights in his tank and he probably wants to be careful about it. On the other hand, Michael Chandler has been waiting for the fight for two years now. While there is no guarantee of when the fight will take place, Dana White has some suggestions for the ‘Iron’.
Dana White doesn’t think Michael Chandler should wait around for Conor McGregor much longer
Conor McGregor’s pullout from UFC 303 attracted a series of desperate situations for Dana White. However, the promotion managed to book Alex Pereira vs. Jiri Prochazka on short notice which did in fact save the card. However, after the whole fiasco, White announced that he wouldn’t talk about the McGregor fight until the fighter was fully healed.Â

During the UFC 303 post-fight presser, when asked about Michael Chandler, White revealed that the former Bellator champion should not wait much longer. According to White, Chandler is smart enough to make the decision that is best for him.Â
I never recommend waiting, time is not your friend in this business, but Michael’s been around for a long time, he’s accomplished a lot of things and he’s at a point in his career where that might be what he wants to do… He’s not a dumb guy, he’s a smart guy so whatever he wants to do.

On the other hand, Chandler has revealed that he used waiting for McGregor as a break and it has had a good effect on him. The fighter also updated about meeting the UFC top brass and teased about the McGregor fight potentially happening in August or September.Â
