However, during the game, Timberwolves star man Anthony Edwards stole all the attention with his insane athletics against the Kingsโ defense.
Anthony Edwards made a spectacular dunk during the second half that received a lot of social media views. In his first 28 minutes of action, the All-Star shooting guard shot 9/17 from the field and finished with 23 points and one rebound. The Timberwolves are now the 11th seed in the Western Conference after going 6-6 in their first 12 games. They have a lot of work cut out this 2024-25 NBA season. However, having the likes of Edwards on their roster, the Timberwolves will have to turn the tide quickly if they were to achieve success this 2024-25 NBA season.

Edwards was sort of contradicting himself. He acknowledged that there is one exception since he likes to dunk on people. The top shooting guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves started the preseason and this 2024-25 NBA season playing well. However, his team need to improve further to repeat their playoff success last season.
