If it wasnโ€™t clear, whether Aaron Rodgers and Donald Trump donโ€™t see eye to eye then perhaps thereโ€™s a clear picture now after their subdued yet dramatic moment on the sets of UFC 302 on Saturday night. Those who preferred placing both individuals in the same political bracket may want to re-think their move after the latest development.

The setting was Prudential Center in New Jersey, a hood for the rich and famous. Rodgers being a Big Apple resident, dropped by to watch the big showdown between lightweight champion Islam Makhachev and challenger Justin Porier.

Accompanied by former Green Bay Packers teammate and friend Marcedes Lewis, Rodgers passed the vibe check with a simple white T with jeans and a Knicks hat to boot. The ESPN MMA X (formerly Twitter) posted a short clip of the due locating their seats.

Meanwhile, former USA President Donald Trump entered the venue with fans cheering at the top of their lungs even though he had been convicted of Hush Money. Regardless, UFC events more often than not peak the Republican headโ€™s interests so his presence was rumored.

Now the interesting part. While Trump was making his way to his special seats near the ring, he had to go through a lane full of curious passersby. Along the path sat Rodgers and Lewis.

Trump came and went by without even saying a simple hello to the Super Bowl winners. The pair on the other hand remained in their seats watching the 77-year-old walk by as if he was some random guy. Rodgers did, however, sneak a peek at Trump at the last second which one of the onlookers caught on their camera.

Aaron Rodgers wants to retire on a high note

Quinnen Williams joked after hearing Aaron Rodgers will play his 20th season in the NFL, that their rookie running back just hit 20. During that time the Golden Bears alumni was named Super Bowl champion, became a 10-time Pro Bowler, and 4-time NFL Passing Leader. However, all of those were in Green Bay colors.

Last year he moved out of the colder Wisconsin to chilly New Jersey signing with the Jets. The hype was astronomical. A fanbase that hasnโ€™t seen glory since Joe Namathโ€™s era finally had something to look forward to.

It came crashing down when the 40-year-old tore his Achilles on opening day, missing out on his first year with the Gang Green. After a record-setting recovery, Rodgers is looking for redemption. He doesnโ€™t want to be remembered as just another Jets quarterback.

I don’t want to go out as a bum, I want to be able to playโ€ฆ I’m looking forward to being able to move the way I was last year. All the individual possibilities for recognition will be great. But if I play the way I’m capable of playing, we’re going to be playing for a lot more than that.
Aaron Rodgers said per Jets official website.

Rodgers and the Jets will open their 2024 campaign with a trip to last yearโ€™s Super Bowl runner-ups the San Francisco 49ers on September 9.
