Despite defeating the 76ers, he didn’t position himself well following his remarks about the Bucks winning the championship.
Rivers had a miserable 4–7 record after he took over as head coach of the Bucks. His post-game comments also didn’t sit well with fans and analysts. Nevertheless, the team destroyed the Sixers 119–98. However, he angered many people in an interview with ESPN’s Jamal Collier. Rivers hinted at his prediction to win the championship while talking with Collier.
