One of them was the ‘One-eyed pirate’ Sharaputdin Magomedov, who fought Armen Petrosyan in the main card. As expected, the Russian star kept his undefeated record and gave fans a brutal KO finish.
From the start, Magomedov and Petrosyan came out aggressive, immediately engaging in fierce exchanges. Their kickboxing pedigrees were on full display, as both fighters sought an early finish. The bout ended in the second round when Magomedov delivered a rare spinning double fist, dropping Petrosyan for the decisive finish.
In the first round, Magomedov was aggressive, which prompted Petrosyan to connect some accurate counters. On the other hand, the Russian striker landed some heavy kicks to keep his opponent in check. The ‘Bullet’ was already bleeding in the first round but didn’t lose his momentum.

Fight fans love a striking exchange, and these two fighters successfully gave them exactly that. The action was momentarily halted after a groin shot from Petrosyan, which forced the referee to step in. However, that didn’t stop Magomed from getting his 12th finish of his MMA career.

In his brief UFC career, Sharaputdin Magomedov has already established himself as an upcoming star. In his last bout, the fighter defeated Michal Oleksiejczuk via unanimous decision. This was his fourth fight in the UFC and it ended in the best way possible for Magomedov.
Magomedov was extremely satisfied with his performance and did exactly what he had promised during the press conference. The fighter had already talked about his intentions to fight the best in the division, and he didn’t shy away from calling out the former middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya.
