One Bare Knuckle FC 68 fighter celebrated his stunning knockout by drinking ringside with Conor McGregor. โ€˜The Notoriousโ€™ is all here for such a notorious move. The outspoken McGregor has been making the rounds lately, generating buzz for BKFC and the cities the promotion visits. On Saturday, โ€˜Macโ€™ was back in England to get up close and personal with the bare-knuckle action at BKFC 68.

McGregor was in full owner mode this evening (2 Nov 2024) at BKFC 68 from inside the Utilita Arena in Newcastle, England. The former UFC champion celebrated a collection of violent finishes, including one that saw โ€˜Notoriousโ€™ get out of his seat and down a beer. On the main card, Ben Bonner and Lewis Keen of England went head to head in a lightweight bout.

Bonner found a home for a massive right hand with less than 20 seconds left in the opening round. Keen was down and out as Bonner went on to get knocked out. Seeing the dollar signs in such an upset, McGregor was quick on his feet and celebrated with Bonner. The pair pounded beers after a tremendous performance from โ€˜The Bomber.โ€™

Conor McGregor is still living out his failed UFC 303 billing in June. The former two-division champion has been hampered by injury and stalled negotiations. The going thought is that UFC is keeping him on lock until an exclusive 2025 broadcast rights deal. Instead, the Irish superstar keeps busy between training and working on his business. So until then, BKFC pressers and ringside chugs at BKFC are it.

Bonner has had his fair share of wins and losses in his bare-knuckle career. But his highlight reel knockout of McGregor will be a moment heโ€™ll remember forever. The Irishman had entertained and celebrated viral BKFC snippets before as well. He celebratedย Ruben Warrโ€™sย 6-second KOย atย BKFC Fight Night Pechanga.

McGregor Sports & Entertainmentย officially became part-owners during theย BKFC โ€œKnuckleManiaโ€ 4ย card. Since then, McGregor has enjoyed his equity stakes in the bare-knuckle culture. McGregor hasnโ€™t ruled out stepping into the BKFC ring at least once before his fighting career ends. Heโ€™s also planning a UFC comeback in 2025, but BKFC is a lucrative spot now.

However, itโ€™s not a McGregor happenstance until the liquid-chugging, smoke-blowing โ€œMcGregorโ€ effect kicks in. Here is what fans think of his latest antics at BKFC 68, yet again:

McGregor often catches flak forย not having an active ballot appearanceย since his 2021 leg break TKO. While most enjoy such antics, whether at BKFC or UFC, some donโ€™t. Verbatim, one particular reaction (@thevoiceofcash) said, โ€œYeah heโ€™s never fighting again.โ€ Consequently, it isnโ€™t the only such one.

While planning a return in 2025, McGregor has no current billing despite his connections. His bare-knuckle antics and MMA promotions are the closest he is to a fight grind. McGregor was reportedly offered a โ€˜megamoneyโ€™ fight with Paulie Malignaggi in the BKFC ring in 2019. However, McGregor returned to the UFC in early 2020 and the fight never materialized. Will BKFC billings and culture actually be his new home? Thereโ€™s just no telling.
