LeBron James‘ second son is also following in his father’s footsteps exactly like his brother Bronny. Bryce James is also pursuing basketball in high school and the 17-year-old receiving all the support he needs. Both of his parents showed encouragement after the player announced his commitment to Arizona. Now, the couple showed up to watch their son play at Sierra Canyon.
With the Lakers getting a day off between games, LeBron James and wife Savannah were spotted at Bryce’s game. A video of ‘the King’ entering the facility went viral which also included a few highlights of Bryce’s performance. The James couple smiled as proud parents do after the game, cheering for Bryce’s sheer dominance on the floor.
James had every reason to be hyped as Sierra Canyon had a blowout 87-54 win over Chaminade. Chaminade did got off on a decent start but the shots just weren’t going in for them. Sierra Canyon took full advantage of that taking a 10-point lead in the first quarter itself.
From then on the Trailblazers just kept dominating Chaminade with their amazing on-floor chemistry and defensive strength. In the fourth quarter Chaminade lost all control and were at 48-81 with less than three minutes left. Despite playing limited minutes, Bryce showed off his skills each time he got a chance.

The result of the game almost contrasted with the Lakers’ embarrassing blowout loss to the Spurs . Victor Wembanyama and the team’s collective outing was too much for Anthony Davis’ 30-point double-double. The Cali team is going through a rough time considering this was their third loss in a row. The team is in desperate need of changing gears to bring some positivity to the city.
LeBron James supported Bryce James despite not choosing Ohio
LeBron James has never played in college but still managed to get drafted as the first overall pick in the NBA. The path for both of his sons is slightly different. His oldest Bronny, played for the USC Trojans for a year before declaring for the NBA draft. Now, Bryce will perform in the Wildcats jersey after competing at the high school level.
Before choosing Arizona, the 17-year-old reportedly got offers from Duquesne Dukes and Ohio State Buckeyes as well. However, it seems that Bryce rejecting James’ hometown Ohio was not a problem for the Lakers forward. During his appearance on the GoJo and Golic show, the four-time champion spoke highly of his son.
They recruited Bryce very hard and believed in Bryce and believed in his maturation process. He’s going as far as a basketball player and as a young man. He made his own decision, and as parents, myself and Savannah, we just support him, you know? We’re excited for his next chapter once he gets down there, and hopefully, I don’t have to buy the gear.

Savannah James once admitted that she wants her son to do ‘whatever makes him happy’ but her husband had other plans. James made an honest admission when he said he wanted his son to end up in the NBA. At the time James was talking about his oldest son, but both of his sons have chosen the same path.
