Without question, Dana White is responsible for the UFC’s success during the previous 20 years. White has years of expertise and a deep understanding of the fight industry. In the same way, White also developed the Power Slap, which the CEO of the UFC predicts will be a great success. However, White recently received a reality check about Power Slap, which he was unprepared for.
Dana White has always been highly ambitious towards the potential of Power Slap. During a recent podcast, while talking about Power Slap, White predicted that the league has the potential to surpass UFC. However, White didn’t expect to be confronted by one of the hosts, Bob Menery, who refuted the claims. Menery didn’t hesitate to tell White to his face about how boring the Power Slap is for average viewers.

As expected, White didn’t take this lightly and questioned Menery about what makes UFC or boxing more interesting than Power Slap. Menery had his answer ready and pointed out that both these sports have a sense of thrill and unpredictability. It’s not that common to see someone disagreeing with White, and it was pretty clear from the CEO’s reaction.
As it turns out, White and Menery have a history with each other. In the past, when Menery left the FULL SEND PODCAST and claimed that they owed him, White supported the Nelk Boys. After the recent incident, White also agreed on a comment that essentially bashed Bob Menery for being a ‘Clown.’ It seems like White didn’t like the criticisms made by the YouTuber about Power Slap.
Since its inauguration, the Power Slap has attracted severe criticism for its brutal nature. The constant media pressure wanted Dana White to stop the league as allegedly it was extremely dangerous for the athletes. Other than that, many other individuals have also raised questions and mocked White for holding Power Slap.

He frequently claimed it would be way bigger than the multi-billion dollar UFC. However, while talking about how he got the idea of this league, White made some interesting revelations.
I just keep watching this stuff. I take a deeper dive into this and look on YouTube….I start to think about what if I put on the right production and got it sanctioned and turn it into a sport. The answer is 7 billion views…It is the most successful thing I have ever been a part of. Where Power Slap is right now in 17 months, it took the UFC 10 years to get there.
