Conor McGregor is not in the video POV, which he shared with his 46.2 million followers last night. But he is audible loudly declaring, โThatโs a fu*king moon!โ before going off-camera with his mates in a car. Apparently, the group was heading to some sort of party. McGregor hasnโt competed since his TKO lower leg break in July 2021 at UFC 264. He was to return atop the UFC 303 pay-peer-view in June but had yet another leg injury and pulled out of media obligations. That, his habitual nose blows and unhinged partying, McGregorโs recent social media strikes, etc. do not instill much confidence.

McGregor has been working towards a return to the octagon. Now that Michael Chandler has moved on to the pay-per-view co-main bill at UFC 309, he is without a booking. Hence, he is still not cleared for full contact MMA sparring in the octagon and is on the last legs of his contract run.
Rumor mills have the brass keeping McGregor locked up for a new billion-dollar broadcasting rights deal till 2025. No point losing out on the golden pay-per-view goose after all, even if that goose does nose-blows and posts lewd X-space remarks. Hit the rehab or after-party planetary observatory? Thereโs just no good option here. Everybody does their bits of moon-glazing. But to call it this yearโs Noche Pay-per-view MSG โSphereโ and square it off like this is just the โshroomsโ doing their work! So say most of the fans. McGregor does not fail to entertain. But that can go only so long without a proper UFC return. All in all, every such weird tidbit will only fall on the bad side of things here.
