The Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship has risen in popularity in the last few months. Interestingly, UFC superstar Conor McGregor’s part acquisition of a stake in the promotion has attracted fans’ interest. Most recently, at the BKFC Edmonton event, an intriguing moment from Trevor Bozniak left the netizens in shock.
In the recently concluded event, BKFC returned to Edmonton, Canada, where they hosted a Prospect Series card. The BKFC prospects series provides an opportunity for several up-and-coming bare-knuckle fighters. Trevor Bozniak, 47, was another fighter who wanted to grab this opportunity to shine at one of the intriguing promotions of combat sports. However, a bizarre sequence emerged.
Bozniak fought against a 20-year-old young prospect named Kayden Giroux at cruiserweight. Both fighters started the fight well. However, Giroux took better advantage of his height as compared to the 47-year-old. On the other hand, Bozniak deliberately tried to close down the gap and push the 20-year-old to the ropes.
Both bare-knuckle fighters were fierce with their exchanges. In one such exchange, Giroux landed a huge right overhand on Bozniak, ultimately dropping him. At that particular moment, the 47-year-old landed awkwardly on his ankles and broke it. Interestingly, he immediately snapped his ankle back to his position and stood, leaving everyone shocked.
