Brazilian UFC lightweight fighter Renato Moicano is currently one of the most talked-about competitors in the division. Recently, his bold desire to face Max Holloway has generated significant excitement within the community. As a result, some UFC veterans and legends have offered detailed analysis on the potential BMF title matchup.

I believe that this dude really is good. I believe that because of how important the BMF title now seems to be, he (Moicano) is almost looking at the BMF championship and almost ignoring the fact that he’s so close to be maybe fighting for a championship that’s the only scare for me with the BMF championship.

‘Money’ Moicano is undoubtedly a fascinating figure in the community, largely due to his outspoken personality and engaging callouts. Currently, he is on an impressive four-fight win streak in the promotion. Most recently, he delivered a brutal performance against Benoit Saint-Denis, which boosted his confidence. Following that fight, Moicano even called out the ‘Blessed’ Holloway.

According to Cormier, Moicano’s victory at UFC Paris has brought him closer to title contention in the lightweight division. Consequently, both he and Ben Askren appear hesitant about the prospect of Money Moicano facing Holloway. Currently, the Brazilian fighter is set to compete against Beneil Dariush at UFC 311. Meanwhile, the ‘Blessed’ has not yet been booked for a fight.

Max Holloway likes the idea of defending his BMF title against Charles Oliveira

The spectators at the UFC 300 event witnessed Max Holloway’s rise as a lightweight fighter. He achieved this by delivering a stunning last-second knockout against veteran Justin Gaethje, earning himself the title of BMF champion. Although Holloway faced a setback in his next fight against Ilia Topuria, he remains confident about his upcoming run in the lightweight division.

Interestingly, the ‘Blessed’ Holloway pointed to Alex Pereira’s rise in the UFC light heavyweight division, following his loss in the middleweight division as an example he wants to emulate. With this in mind, Holloway has identified a former champion as his next potential opponent in the UFC lightweight division.

I heard Oliveira said he wanted to go for the BMF. That’s pretty cool. Oliveira, I know we have some history, and I know if that fight was ever offered to me, brother, it would be an honor to share the octagon with you, bro.
