For Gane, this opportunity is not just a personal milestone but also a chance to represent the sport he loves on a global stage. He is an advocate for MMA’s inclusion in future Olympic competitions. He hoped that his participation would raise awareness and bolster the sport’s bid for Olympic recognition.

The 2024 Summer Games in Paris promises to be a spectacular event. Over 10,000 athletes from around the world will converge on the City of Light. They will compete for coveted Olympic medals across a diverse range of sports.

Ciryl Gane dismisses Tom Aspinall’s accusations

Ciryl Gane has firmly rejected Tom Aspinall‘s claims of being ducked. ‘Bon Gamin’ has come under fire from the MMA fanbase in recent times for ducking top opposition. The Frenchman has not fought since the UFC Paris event last year.

Aspinall had alleged that Gane had dismissed multiple fight offers against him, Curtis Blaydes, and Sergei Pavlovich. This did not sit well with Gane, who took to X to respond to this. He was quick to shut down these claims with a concise tweet.

@AspinallMMA, I never, ever say no to any challenge or any opponent. Blaydes was never an option. They said Pavlovich, I said yes. Don’t worry, I’ll see you in September, stop tripping.

Aspinall currently holds the interim title. He has remained vocal about his desire to face the top contenders. Others have also accused Gane of ducking the fights. Aspinall is set to fight at UFC 304 in Manchester. Maybe Gane would step up and face him on his own home soil.
