Ahead of the fight, the MMA community is against Dana White for choosing Miocic over Tom Aspinall as the challenger. However, some experts believe that the CEO is doing the right thing. UFC legend Chael Sonnen is one among them.
Most fight fans believe Miocic is old and shouldn’t fight Jon Jones. This was the matter of discussion at White’s last press conference at Contender Series. During the conversation, White passionately argued with everyone and tried to convince them that Jones vs. Miocic was the right call. Sonnen recently took to his YouTube channel and mentioned that the MMA fans are being disrespectful towards Miocic.

Sonnen said nothing has changed since Jones and Miocic were initially scheduled to fight at UFC 295. The UFC veteran agreed with White, giving Miocic the title shot over Aspinall. The community and media do not agree with it and are on the side of Aspinall, who is doing everything right to get a title shot.
