Joe Rogan is one of the standout personalities in the UFC community who serves as one of the voices of the promotion in live fights. However, apart from that, Rogan is also the host of one of the most popular podcast shows in the US. Interestingly, on his podcast show, the infamous ‘Hawk Tuah’ girl, Haliey Welch also became a topic of discussion.

Joe Rogan consistently features a fascinating lineup of guests on his podcast, the Joe Rogan Experience. In a recent episode, he welcomed American comedians Yannis Pappas and Chris Distefano. During their discussions, Rogan and the panel touched on the trending topic of ‘Hawk Tuah’ girl, Haliey Welch’s recent alleged crypto scams.

The thing was there was an enormous amount of money that was put into this meme coin by all these people and then she or someone representing her side of it sold like instantaneously and made a huge score and then the coin was worth nothing. So all those people that invested money, like one guy invested a million dollars like imagine like the Hawk Tuah girl. Yeah, that’s a sound investment, yeah, that seems like a good place to put my nest egg.

She introduced her own crypto meme coin, $HAWK, which reached a valuation of $500 million at its peak before declining to $25 million. This situation led to accusations of her participation in a pump-and-dump scheme.

Several prominent individuals have recently taken jabs at Welch. Most notably, popular golf influencer Paige Spiranac appeared to criticize the ‘Hawk Tuah’ girl. Within the UFC community, commentator Joe Rogan was the first to share his thoughts on the situation. He made several sarcastic remarks about Welch, as he is speculated to have reservations about cryptocurrencies, NFTs, and similar digital assets.

I’ve had offers to promote things like that. I’m not interested. Like, uh-uh. I don’t even understand it. If I don’t understand it—like, you’re selling what? NFTs? What does that mean? ‘It’s a non-fungible token.’ We’re done. I don’t know what you’re saying. I’m not doing this.
