Gilbert Burns and Khamzat Chimaev was definitely an incredible fight. It was the first fight that showed the vulnerability of Chimaev. Burns showed his grit, but Chimaev walked away with a decision win. With International Fight Week and the Hall of Fame soon approaching, UFC commentator Jon Anik pondered if the fight would make it to the UFC Hall of Fame.

Jon Anik recently appeared on the Show me The Money podcast. Anik brought up the topic of the UFC Hall of Fame and how Gilbert Burns could receive the honors. The UFC commentator predicted Burns entering the UFC Hall of Fame due to the fight against Chimaev. As such, Anik expects a Fight Wing induction for the Brazilian grappler.

Gilbert Burns may win the world title and go in the modern Hall of Fame in the modern era wing right. But his fight against Khamzat Chimaev is going into the Hall of Fame.

Gilbert Burns and Khamzat Chimaev fought in 2022 at UFC 273. Anik drew comparisons to Chael Sonnen and Anderson Silva‘s fight. ‘The American Gangster’ is getting inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in the Fight Wing category. Similarly, he expected Burns to one day receive the same honors.

Up until this point, no one has brought up the discussion of Burns entering the Hall of Fame or Chimaev vs. Burns having a Fight Wing induction. Anik certainly has captured the interest of fans in wondering which other great fights remain Hall of Fame worthy and when they will potentially receive the crowning honors in International Fight Week for years to come.

A video of Conor McGregor has recently caught a lot of attention on social media. The video in circulation showed ‘The Notorious’ partying with his girlfriend just weeks ahead of his UFC return. On the other hand, Michael Chandler continues to work extremely hard for the fight he had waited for so long.

The Road House star received much criticism for the clip, but Gilbert Burns has different opinions. ‘Durinho’ believes that McGregor is simply faking it to throw his opponent off track.

I dont think he is drinking, he is playing Ryan Garcia character 100%.

Ryan Garcia had famously pranked the entire internet into believing that he was drunk and had gone ‘cra*y’ ahead of his fight against Devin Haney. However, it turned out that Garcia had been faking it throughout the lead-up to the fight, and ‘Durinho’ believes McGregor was doing the same.
