The highly anticipated UFC 307 fight card took place in Salt Lake City, Utah. American middleweight fighter Kevin Holland was scheduled for his second matchup of the year. This time, he faced Roman Dolidze in a three-round bout. The fight’s outcome drew everyone’s attention as Holland screamed during the live PPV event.
The headliner fight was set for the light-heavyweight championship between Alex Pereira and Khalil Rountree Jr. The undercard consisted of several intriguing matchups, including Kevin Holland vs. Roman Dolidze. The ‘Trailblazer’ was coming off a win after his last victory against Michal Oleksiejczuk and seemingly focused on replicating the same against Dolidze.
However, things didn’t turn out as he planned. Holland started dominantly, landing several hooks on the Georgian fighter. Meanwhile, Dolidze seemed unfazed as he stood his ground firmly. After a few minutes in the first round, the Georgian fighter comfortably took down the Trailblazer. During that time, there were several tough grappling exchanges between the two.
Holland intentionally attempted to break free from Dolidze’s control. While trying to shake off the Georgian fighter, he appeared to injure his rib. As a result, the American fighter seemed visibly distressed, screaming in agony. Subsequently, the referee, Jason Herzog, had to stop the fight as Holland could not continue.

The Trailblazer suffered his first defeat of the year. In contrast, Dolidze, the Georgian fighter, is currently on a two-fight win streak. Additionally, Dolidze has been awarded a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt due to his impressive grappling skills in the fight. After the fight, one of the prominent UFC fighters seemed quite distressed by the outcome.
