The trade season rumors and wishes are at their best again. This time, Tyrese Haliburton has had to address recent comments made by Phoenix Suns legend Stephon Marbury. It had to do with a wish list. Marbury’s wish list for the trade season includes Haliburton moving over to the Suns.
Tyrese Haliburton was shocked when he was told about this when he spoke to Pat McAfee. The Pacers superstar strongly reaffirmed his dedication to the Indiana-based team. Also, he emphasized that his focus is to contribute to the Pacers’ success, regardless of interest from rival teams.

Fresh off winning a gold medal with Team USA, Haliburton is expected to take on an even larger role this season. Last season saw him average 12.5 assists and 24.7 points per game. His best showing came during the In-Season Tournament, where he averaged 26.7 points and 13.3 assists.

Despite the Suns boasting two great scorers in Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal, who wouldn’t want extra depth and that too in the form of a superstar?
They need a scoring point guard. They need a guy that can get them going but can really go too. Like the kid that plays for the Indiana Pacers? Tyrese. He didn’t play in the Olympics that much this year.

Furthermore, Stephon Marbury also suggested that Haliburton could take his game to new heights if he were to add 15-20 pounds of muscle. This will allow him to better compete against the NBA’s more physical players. This advice was borne out of the fact that Haliburton finds it hard to compete against players that are more athletic and physically strong.
Fans of the Indiana Pacers will be glad the story was put to rest with the definitive rebuttal. Haliburton remains committed to the project at Indiana. Although it’s the NBA, and anything can happen for now, it’s not realistic for the Suns to acquire the Indiana star.
