In today’s digital age, the importance of online presence cannot be overstated. With the majority of consumers searching for products and services online, businesses need to have a strong online presence to stay competitive. One aspect of online presence that businesses cannot afford to neglect is search engine optimization (SEO). In this article, we will explore the basics of SEO and why it is crucial for businesses to incorporate it into their digital marketing strategy.

As the offseason continues and the contract talks in various camps intensify, it’s no surprise there will be chatter. Let’s just take New Orleans Saints safety Tyrann Mathieu, who shared a post on Twitter that listed the leaders of various sporting categories. Funny enough (according to Mathieu), MLB player Shohei Ohtani led the Angels in every single one of the 13 listed.

The Los Angeles Angels’ Ohtani is the talk of the town as he hit his 23rd home run of the season and 150th overall as he became the second Japanese in the MLB to hit 150 homers. While it may be a different game from the NFL, there’s always competition over which sports pay more. It’s no surprise that Tyrann Mathieu chipped in with his opinion.

Mathieu seemed to be hinting at something, or he could simply be playfully joking. He indicated that generational wealth is heading toward Ohtani: “20 years, $900M deal incoming.”

The former Super Bowl winner with the Kansas City Chiefs, Tyrann Mathieu, has earned his fair share of the green bill. He signed a 3-year contract with the Saints, which will eventually make him earn around $28,300,000, including a $9,500,000 signing bonus and $18,000,000 guaranteed. The three-time Pro Bowler has a base salary of $1,165,000 and a restructure bonus of $5,835,000 according to Sportac.

Meanwhile, Ohtani signed a one-year deal with the Angels in which he will earn roughly $30,000,000. So if one compares their salary caps, Othani clearly earns more.

Moreover, if we were to consider Mathieu’s assessment of Ohtani landing a $900 million deal, he would shatter every record in US sports history. In the NFL, the highest-earning player over the years has been Tom Brady, who, according to Statista, has earned $332.96 million. That’s still a chunk short of what Ohtani may earn.

The 31-year-old is no stranger to having a big paycheck throughout his decade-long career. Mathieu started off in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals and stuck around for five seasons before moving down south to the Houston Texans. After just one year, he was on the road again and ended up in the Kansas City Chiefs dugout. During his time at the Arrowhead, he reached back-to-back Super Bowls and won in 2020. In 2021, the honey badger returned home to the Saints.

Mathieu’s first year at the Superdome did not go smoothly, even though he had a decent season personally. The Saints faltered to a third-place finish with a 7-10 record. Mathieu played 17 games and got 1 sack and 3 interceptions.
