German midfield stalwart Tony Kroos welcomed Jude Bellingham to Real Madrid. However, Kroos wrapped the message in a warning hinting at the catastrophic transfer of Eden Hazard which saw the Belgian superstar become a shell of his Chelsea self and get lost into oblivion in a matter of years.
In a recent interview, Kroos slammed his former teammate Eden Hazard for his miserable time at the Spanish capital. He claimed that the Belgian striker ‘let his career die’ during his stint at the Santiago Bernabeu. When asked about his response over Bellingham’s €103 million to Real Madrid, Kroos said, “€103m transfer fee? We now also had someone who came for a lot of money and virtually let his career rest. A lot of money and I think everyone would say in retrospect: That was not such a good transfer. But now let’s start from the positive.”
Kroos has also talked about Karim Benzema’s sudden move to Saudi Arabia. He said, “Karim to Saudi? You can go or you may not go. It is each person’s decision. There are circumstances that contribute to the decision-making. You do not interfere with it. You have to honor him as he deserves to be honored”.

Mbappe reportedly decided not to extend his stay at Paris Saint Germain beyond 2024. This has led to many speculations arising that Mbappe might be on his way to Real Madrid.
During a recent interview, Camavinga was asked about Mbappe’s situation. Camavinga said, ” You have seen that he has already spoken. I have nothing to say. I would be very happy if he comes to Real Madrid”.

Mbappe was on the verge of signing for Real Madrid last season. But the 24-year-old striker snubbed the Spanish Giants last summer to stay at PSG for a monstrous deal. Despite his saying that he will be in France for the next season, by refusing to sign a contract, Mbappe has basically given PSG management the ultimatum that either they sell him this year or next year they will lose him for free. It remains to be seen how the management is planning to deal with the situation as the transfer window heats up.
