Tony Ferguson is a true MMA legend, boasting an illustrious career that has earned him respect from the fanbase. Over the years, he has been a consistent presence in the UFC, engaging in countless memorable and bloody battles. However, at the age of 40, fans want the legend to retire, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Tony Ferguson is currently on a whopping eight-fight losing streak and recently announced that he might come back again. Ferguson is widely known for his eccentric personality and unconventional training, making him one of MMA’s most unique fighters. His unorthodox methods once praised for their creativity, contributed to his dominance during the peak of his mixed martial arts career. However, as the sport has evolved and competition has intensified, these unusual approaches have appeared less effective in recent years.

Furguson took massive damage and never got back on track and started losing again and again. His brutal front kick KO loss against Michael Chandler definitely had a major impact on his confidence. UFC superstar Belal Muhammad also spoke about it in a podcast and shared the importance of taking a break for ‘El Cucuy.’

I think after the Gaethje fight, that should have been time off. That should have been like,’ Alright, let me take a year off.’ But you want rush in and all of a sudden the losses started adding up. Your body is taking damage.
