Jake Paul and Tommy Fury had a bitter rivalry when they boxed back in 2023. After the bout, the fighters resolved their differences, although it appears that certain issues remain. Recently, Fury was spotted training out with renowned MMA superstar Tom Aspinall and made an unexpected jab at Jake Paul.
Hailing from the UK, both Tommy Fury and Tom Aspinall are very old friends. Before MMA, Aspinall used to be a boxer and trained with Fury. In the new video, Fury was seen training MMA with the interim UFC heavyweight champion. He then called out Jake Paul for a potential MMA bout.

Fury stated that Paul has all the resources and is doing great in boxing, but he will be no match for him in an MMA fight. Fury believes he can knock out Paul in an MMA bout after a year and a half of constant training. This might be why he is now getting into MMA training.
Paul is now signed with PFL MMA and has hinted at his probable MMA debut. Following Paul and Nate Diaz‘s boxing match, PFL was on the verge of scheduling an MMA match. Fury vs. Paul in an MMA fight would be an intriguing matchup and an opportunity for Paul to get his retribution.
Jake Paul denies losing to Tommy Fury
The Tommy Fury vs. Jake Paul boxing rivalry started in 2021 with a series of heated online altercations. The fight was initially canceled twice owing to Fury’s rib injury and traveling issues. In February 2023, they finally came face to face inside the ring, where Fury outclassed Paul.

On the other hand, Paul was ridiculed for losing after all that trash-talking. However, Paul never believed he lost the bout.
I think it was a draw, honestly. I’m not saying that I should have won. All I’m saying that Tommy should want to comeback and like actually beat me properly.

Since that fight, Paul has made a great comeback, participated in four bouts, and won them all. It must be noted that his victories came against old MMA fighters or journeyman boxers. His last fight against BKFC superstar Mike Perry captured the attention of many fans. It would be interesting to see if both Fury and Jake Paul decide to run it back, especially in an MMA ring.
