God also may have chosen Jones to be undefeated. So the fact that the five-round PPV showdown could lead to the impatient Tom Aspinall, makes him and his vices the “Devil.” That, or Steve Mazzagatti, who contested God’s path to his undefeated streak. All Mickeys or religion aside, he does have a record to behold.

Jon Jones is 1-0 since he moved up to the heavyweight division in March 2023 against Ciryl Gane. While he does plan to retire with an almost incumbent reign and a meager defense, at least the statistic can improve against Stipe Miocic. All eyes are on UFC 309 this week.

“Bones” competes in his 20th main event under the UFC banner. It happens to be the second-most in company history behind Anderson Silva [21]. He fought 22 times at light heavyweight before moving up. Subsequently, it is the fourth most in division history behind Ovince Saint Preux [24], Mauricio Rua [24], and Glover Teixeira [23]. This has only added to his fame as a bona fide legend while at 205.
His current 18-fight UFC light heavyweight unbeaten streak is the longest active in the division. It’s also the longest overall streak. With most title fights, his eight fight-night bonuses for UFC light heavyweight bouts are tied for second-most. There are few like Jones, and even his rivals have praises to sing.
