“The streak is over”- Wrestling Twitter go bananas as The Usos prevail in The Bloodline Civil War against Roman Reigns & Solo Sikoa at Money in the Bank

Tonight’s Money in the Bank served host for the inevitable Bloodline Civil War. After boiling for months, The Usos finally parted ways from Roman Reigns’ tutelage. The cracks were developing from a long time and they got bigger in size each week. Three weeks ago, Jey too betrayed Reigns after the former’s brother Jimmy did to his cousin at Night of Champions. Following that, WWE announced Reigns & Sikoa going up against The Usos in London.

Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa kicked-off the festivities. Some brutal chest chops were exchanged during the opening phase. However, once Jey Jso tagged in, Roman Reigns barked at Sikoa to let him in too. In no time, Reigns took control over his cousin. The vociferous crowd was eager to express their disdain for The Tribal Chief. Sikoa did a good job at keeping Jey away from the match for quite a while.

In an awe-inspiring moment, The Usos double-speared Roman Reigns, however Sikoa broke the pinfall attempt. Reigns even locked Jimmy into the Guillotine choke, but Jimmy survived. Shortly after, the match referee got knocked out inadvertently. Reigns & Sikoa completely sabotaged The Usos in the meanwhile, almost claiming a pinfall.

The match kept everyone on tenterhooks. Jey & Roman slugged it out exchanging heavy blows. Jey kicked out of the spear from Roman in a way that the latter got low-blowed. After that, the twin-cousins did the unthinkable and completely annihilated Reigns and Sikoa. Jey executed a frog splash over Reigns after laying him out with multiple superkicks. The referee counted Reigns to his first pinfall loss since December 15, 2019.

In what came as a complete surprise, Roman Reigns indeed got pinned at Money in the Bank. In his over 1000 day title reign, no superstar was able to fend off The Head of the Table. Even Cody Rhodes couldn’t finish the story at WrestleMania 39. Well, it was always meant to be someone from Roman’s Bloodline to take him down, isn’t it?

After the match got over, Paul Heyman was weeping, Sikoa was in disbelief and Roman was fuming. This is something which Reigns is not accustomed to. He had not seen a defeat in over 3 years. That being said, next week’s SmackDown would be incredibly must-see. The Roman Reigns gaslighting mode will be at its peak and the fans get to see his next move.
