Francis Ngannou’s relationship with the UFC and Dana White has deteriorated beyond repair. Following their messy split over contract disputes, White has repeatedly taken jabs at Ngannou whenever possible. However, the UFC’s latest attempt to downplay Ngannou’s achievements has not gone over well with fight fans, who have voiced their disapproval.

This weekend UFC is going to hold its 100th event at the Las Vegas Apex facility, UFC Vegas 100. Ahead of the event, the promotion rated the Top 100 knockout victories inside the Apex in a YouTube video. However, they didn’t add Francis Ngannou‘s brutal KO victory against heavyweight GOAT Stipe Miocic at UFC 260 during the pandemic.

The UFC previously tried to erase Ngannou’s legacy by cutting out his name, but Israel Adesanya called them out. White dismissed it as a mistake, but this time, it seemed like a deliberate choice. The omission might connect to the ongoing back and forth between White and Ngannou.

Continuing his recent pattern, White launched another rant against Ngannou, questioning his character. In response, the PFL champion fired back with strong rebuttals, further intensifying their rivalry. However, this time fans weren’t happy about Ngannou’s omission and made sure to call out White.

After his departure from UFC, Francis Ngannou signed a multi-million dollar deal with PFL. Apart from that, he also fulfilled his intentions to participate in big boxing bouts with world heavyweight champions. Though he lost both fights, he reportedly earned a whopping $30 million and was ready to show receipts.

In retaliation, Dana White accused Ngannou of ducking Jon Jones and running away from UFC. Irrespective of everything, fans didn’t appreciate White for cutting out Ngannou from his deserving position in the UFC.

Ngannou has always been a fan favorite due to his fighting style and his personality outside UFC. Many supported his move from UFC as they understood the possibility of him making more money. As expected, fans didn’t let this opportunity go, mocking UFC and White for their choice to omit Ngannou.
