After three rounds of action, the UFC 304 crowd finally witnessed bloodshed between Christian Leroy Duncan and Gregory ‘Robocop’ Rodrigues. It consisted of a brutal back-and-forth action, and the eagerly awaited middleweight bout lived up to expectations. Robocop became victorious, but not before giving some severe damage to CLD.
In the start, both fighters were cautious about each other but didn’t take much time to engage. Rodrigues took charge and started dominating from the start with some heavy blows. The Brazilian mixed it up with kicks and elbows, making Duncan take a step back.
In the middle of the rounds, fans saw a huge bump on Duncan’s head. It was the result of Rodrigues’s impressive striking and incredible pressure. The fight took place on the feet as well as on the ground. Despite the pressure, CLD had his moments and managed to give Rodrigues several cuts, resulting in the fighter to bleed.
After three rounds of non-stop action, Robocop was announced the winner via unanimous decision. During the octagon interview, Rodrigues revealed that he did his best to finish the fight, but CLD was too tough. Nevertheless, fans couldn’t help but notice that freak injury on Duncan’s head.
