Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry is one of the best, if not the best shooter the NBA has ever seen. Curry was one of the main reasons for the three-point revolution in the NBA. Even at the age of 36, Curry is the main star of the Warriors and was seen carrying the team on his shoulder for the last season. Currently, he is a part of the stacked Team USA for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
On Wednesday USA had their second game of the group stage against South Sudan. The USA managed to secure an impressive victory this time (after a rough outing in the warmup game) with a final score of 103-86. Curry had another poor outing in terms of scoring as he just had three points, one rebound and 4 assists. He had bad shooting as he went 1-9 from the field, including 0-for-6 from 3.
After the game, Stephen Curry interacted with the media and talked about his poor performance in the group stage. Curry stated that he was annoyed as his shots were not being made. Overall USA had a great game with Bam Adebayo having one of the most dominant performances of his career.
You’re always annoyed, for sure, you always want to make shots but you can’t let that rob you of all that other stuff that you do to help win a game.
