The Golden State Warriors have been at their lowest this season after suffering an embarrassing defeat against the Sacramento Kings. The Warriors were predicted to win easily going into a home game against the Kings, who were missing All-Star point guard De’Aaron Fox. Stephen Curry and the Warriors were thrashed on their home court in addition to losing to a weak Kings team by 30 points.
The Kings took a 39-point advantage before defeating the Warriors 129-99, trailing them by 15 points at the end of the first quarter. Curry attempted to lift the squad off its feet by scoring 26 points on 8–12 shooting. However, it was his first outing without an assist since March 2018. He made a blunt remark after the game.

In their defeat on Sunday, the Warriors committed 22 turnovers. This is a bad way to lose to a Kings team that prefers to go out in transition. Head Coach Steve Kerr was left speechless. However, Curry opened up on the situation admitting this “Warriors side aren’t built for comebacks.” This performance also left the DubNation stunned.
Curry is renowned for possessing one of the hottest shooting hands in NBA history. That said, it is difficult to picture any team with him not having the firepower to overcome significant deficits. With injury to Jonathan Kuminga, it is tough for the Warriors to score points consistently in games this season. The Warriors are now 18-17 in the NBA.
DeMar DeRozan praised his teammate after important win over Stephen Curry and Co.
Without De’Aaron Fox for the Sacramento Kings, someone had to step up, especially against Stephen Curry‘s Golden State Warriors. This time, it was Malik Monk who starred for his side. His teammate, DeMar DeRozan was left impressed with his performance and praised him in the post-match press conference.

Monk was excellent in controlling the Kings’ offense and has remained in the starting lineup since being promoted to start in December. In addition to his 26 points and 12 assists, he had an incredible plus-minus of +41 for the game. This was the most revealing indication of how easily he outplayed the Warriors’ defense.
