Seth Rollins puts an exclamation point to the debate between WWE superstars and celebrities getting the spotlight at WrestleMania

Seth Rollins is one of the most decorated superstars in WWE. As The Visionary had stated earlier, he is defending his World Heavyweight Championship at every possible instance and is on a pretty busy run as the World Heavyweight Champion. He has views on other media personalities coming into the company and sharing the spotlight with wrestlers.

His viewpoint came through his match against Logan Paul at WrestleMania 39, where he emerged victorious. But being a social-media star outside of WWE, Logan had most of the spotlight compared to Rollins. Paul has also renewed his contract with WWE, making it a multi-year deal with the Stamford-based company.

During an interview on My Love Letter to Wrestling, Seth shared his balanced thoughts about celebrities taking the place of wrestlers. He stated how wrestlers work throughout the year and sacrifice a lot to put on their A-game. And WrestleMania is the place where they earn their moment, getting rewarded for their yearly hard work.

Rollins said, “We’ve got so many people on our roster and so many people make sacrifices year in and year out to be in the best position they can be in when it comes time for WrestleMania, and you want to reward that.”

On the other hand, he also stated the probable need for celebrities at Mania for the company’s sake. It drives in more fans as the celebrities appear at the event, while also giving them a platform to showcase their talent, which they don’t present regularly. Seth Rollins ended the debate between wrestlers and celebrities’ spotlight issue by stating the importance of wrestlers’ recognition before handing over the spots to celebrities.

The Visionary Seth Rollins became an instant favorite for his opponents as he won the inaugural World Heavyweight Championship. With Rollins living up to his promise of defending his World Heavyweight title frequently. The RAW exclusive title is set to be defended at Week 1 of the NXT Gold Rush against Bron Breakker.

The match started setting up when Bron challenged Seth for a shot at his title when he called him out during the June 6 episode of NXT. The challenge was accepted by Rollins the next week, as he appeared on the TitanTron and made their match official for NXT Gold Rush. This whole scenario came as a surprise to the fans.

If Seth retains his title against Breakker, he has opponents lined up as he takes on The Judgment Day. He will face Finn Balor at the Money in the Bank event in London. And if he succeeds, then Damian Priest on a SmackDown special episode at Madison Square Garden on July 7.
