It all started when Ryan Garcia was accused of using PEDs for his fight with Devin Haney. Conor McGregor had supported Garcia from the start but such an allegation on his name seemed to have made him furious. The UFC star took to X where he went on an angry rant cursing Garcia for using substances to win. Simultaneously, he called out Sean OโMalley who was found with trace amounts of the same substance Garica was accused of.
OโMalley was later cleared of all allegations. However, Conor McGregor seemed to have remembered later on. In a recent live stream, the Irishman revealed that he actually likes OโMalley and that he simply caught strays in the heat of the moment. However, he was still ready to take the bantamweight champion on if he wanted the heat.

The UFC ranks lightweight champion Islam Makhachev as the number one pound-for-pound fighter in the promotion. However, UFC CEO, Dana White has other opinions. According to him, heavyweight champion Jon Jones is the actually #1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world.

The UFC CEO had said that as long as Jon Jones was active, there was no way anyone could beat him as a pound-for-pound fighter. Makhachev had been pushing for another belt in another weight class. Could we possibly see the two fighters clash in the octagon someday? Only time will tell.
