The team of Kit Wilson and Elton Prince called Pretty Deadly got their NXT call-up from SmackDown during the WWE Draft 2023. And now they have managed to secure a win in a gauntlet match and have become the No. 1 contender for the Undisputed Tag Team Championship. While the Tag Team Champions did not have a match on the show, they wrestled in a dark match after SmackDown went off-air against the new challengers.
While Brawling Brutes defeated the earlier teams of Street Profits, O.C., and LWO. It was until Pretty Deadly came in and picked up the win over Sheamus and Ridge Holland to face the champions in London. The repercussions of this win were faced by Wilson and Prince when they suffered beatings after the show went off-air.
Pretty Deadly faced the champions, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, in a dark match after SmackDown. The start of this match saw both teams hyping up the crowd to get reactions from them. Every time Owens or Zayn stepped up on the turnbuckle, fans cheered. On the other hand, Wilson and Prince received boos from the crowd. The match then started, but Pretty Deadly showed disinterest in it and walked out.
Kevin Owens stopped the team and told them not to do the rude act of walking out of the ring. He then put forth his thoughts about not having an ordinary wrestling match but a Lexington Steet Fight match. The Lexington crowd showed their approval with larger pops for the stipulation. The referee agreed to it and continued the matchup with the given stipulation. Kevin and Sami went on to beat the team standing on the ramp and attack them with the ladders present there.
After attacking with chairs, kendo sticks, and steel steps, the team was brought inside the ring. As the Lexington crowd was demanding the inclusion of tables in the match. Owens and Zayn brought in a table and applied their finisher on Kit, while Sami Zayn, being the legal man, pinned Wilson and won the Street Fight.

Wilson and Prince were known as Sam Stoker and Lewis Howley on NXT UK. Portraying the heel persona, Pretty Deadly defeated Gallus to win the NXT UK Tag Team Championship. Their reign lasted for 287 days and is noted as the second-longest reign of any of those titles.
The team later went on NXT 2.0 with their names changed to what they are now. Wilson and Prince had a magnificent debut as they won the tag team titles in their first match. They lost those titles within two months but then made history as they unified both the NXT and NXT UK Tag Team Championships.
