UFC superstar Conor McGregor has associated his name with many famous brands around the world. But each of them is stepping down the shelves. โ€˜The Notoriousโ€™ is likely to remain one of the sportโ€™s most popular stars forever. But after losing out on his civil assault case vs. Nikita Hand in the Dublin High Court โ€” McGregorโ€™s Proper 12 takes the shrapnel.

Accuser Nikita Ni Lamhain (Hand) did not go for any elongated aggravated or exemplary damage charges. But Conor McGregor, liable for proven assault, is bleeding in money and matter. Alongside, top brands are dropping him out. Proper Twelve-parent company and 100pc stake owner Proximo Spirits is one of the more recent ones to disavow him as a media brand face.

The domino effect saw a Proper 12 drop in sales gradient. Many stores refused to stock it on their shelves after the civil lawsuit verdict. Now over 1,000 stores across Ireland have confirmed that they will no longer sell Conor McGregor products. Supermarket juggernaut Tesco led the way with its refusal to sell McGregorโ€™s whiskey in the UK and Ireland, with many more following suit.

Others looking to remove the Irish whiskey from their shelves include Spar, Londis, Mace, and EUROSPAR.

Other than his Proper 12 collateral, Hitman video game removed him as well. He had made a cameo as โ€˜The Disrupterโ€™ in Hitman 3 โ€“ IO Interactive โ€“ Celebrity Elusive Target pack. The brand disruption is spreading further and further.
