Renowned NBA analyst Alan Hahn made an interesting comparison between Nikola Jokić, the center player for the Denver Nuggets, and NFL star quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Jokić and his team are currently battling the Miami Heat for the first NBA championship in the history of the Nuggets franchise. In the first game of the series, Jokić scored a triple-double that led the Nuggets to a 1-0 lead. Many experts praised Jokić’s performance, particularly his assisting skills that allowed him to break Wilt Chamberlin’s record with 14 assists, the highest number of assists by a center in NBA Finals history. During an ESPN show called Get Up, Hahn compared Jokić’s passing skills to Mahomes’ playing style and said that he wants Jokić’s QBR. Additionally, the Denver Broncos are looking to add free-agent wide receiver, DeAndre Hopkins, to their squad to increase their offensive strength and attempt to win back-to-back Super Bowl championships, something that only the New England Patriots, led by Tom Brady, have achieved in the last two decades.
