'Real Pirate' Sharaputdin Magomedov THREATENS to kill Kevin Holland after arriving in the US for short film role

Sharaputdin Magomedov is one of the most electrifying fighters in the UFC middleweight division. The Dagestani has created a menacing aura for himself and fans are loving it. Recently, at UFC Saudi Arabia the ‘One Eyed Pirate’ picked up his second-ever win in the promotion. However, the fighter wasn’t satisfied and immediately called out Kevin Holland for a fight.

Sharaputdin Magomedov is currently on US soil in order to shoot for his role as a killer in a Hollywood movie. In the midst of all this, the fighter took his time to double down on his challenge against Kevin Holland. Magomedov sent a stern warning to Holland and mentioned that he would kill the middleweight on July 13th at UFC Denver.

Kevin Holland, the real pirate here. Shara Bullet in USA. I kill you July 13th, let’s go fight. I kill you. I take your head home

Recently, Sharaputdin Magomedov defeated Antonio Trocoli via TKO and got a grand cheer from the Saudi Arabian crowd. For his incredible performance, the fighter also got a Performance of the Night bonus prize of $50k. However, the biggest highlight was when wrestling prodigy Bo Nickal called out the ‘Bullet’ via a tweet. Given Nickal’s animosity towards Dagestani wrestlers, it wasn’t a shocking callout for many fans.

Magomedov was quick to respond and mentioned that Nickal is a great challenge and is ready to take the fight. However, it seems like the fighter has now shifted his focus towards the ultimate gatekeeper, Kevin Holland. While Holland has not yet responded to the call-out, there are a few rumors that Magomedov would not like to hear.

Jared Cannonier might ruin Sharaputdin Magomedov’s dream to fight Kevin Holland

In his most recent fight at UFC 302, Kevin Holland overcame Michał Oleksiejczuk to recover from his earlier string of defeats. In typical Kevin Holland form, the fighter declared after the bout that he is prepared to take on anyone. This may have been the driving force for Sharaputdin Magomedov’s call-out of Holland. Nevertheless, the dynamic completely changed once Jared Cannonier entered the picture.

While there has been no official announcement, there are rumors that the Jared Cannonier vs. Kevin Holland middleweight showdown is in talks for UFC Denver. If the UFC top brass agrees to make the fight, Magomedov might have to find a different opponent. On top of it, with his eye problem, it is hard for the promotion to get him a fight in the US.

Nevertheless, all this drama and callouts has definitely kept the middleweight division entertaining for the fight fans. With top middleweights like Sean Strickland ready to wait for their shot, it won’t be surprising to see Magomedov doing the same for his next fight.
